Profile of Charles N Haynes

My name is Charles N Haynes. I am an Air force veteran, on active duty during the Vietnam war era. While in my working career, I pursued many of my childhood dreams. I eventually retired as a log home general contractor in the western mountains of North Carolina. After retirement, my interest turned to politics.I am the former secretary treasurer of the FEC authorized Political Action Committee called Repeal Citizens United. Due to the current political condition of the United States, we found it impossible to move forward with this objective. With the current Supreme court, and a Congress that appears determined to destroy our democracy, we realized that the only chance to attain this objective, would be to remove these detriments to our continuing freedom.

At this time, I am the secretary treasurer of a new Political Action Committee called, Citizens Against Tyranny in America. (CATIA) Our objective is to combat the massive propaganda machine that has been launched by various billionaires and corporations. The primary goal of these enemies of democracy is to bombard our elected representatives with so much dark money that they have sold their souls to the devil. The billionaires are doing this to prevent bills being passed that would force them to pay their share of taxes.How else can you explain the change in the GOP that has occurred since Trump appeared on the scene. Many of these congressmen and senators, who once hated Trump, now worship at his feet. Only loads of money can make this happen. Under the Citizens United decision by the John Roberts Supreme Court, there is now unimaginable secret dollars flowing into their coffers. It is coming from many places. Putin for instance, whose personal American Oligarch, Donald Trump, is flooding American politics with stolen Russian oil money.Putin has been using Trump to launder this money for years. The only way these American politicians can get their share, is to go through Trump. Thus this weird, cultish dedication to Donald Trump, and more recently, Putin.There is a saying that “ it is as easy for a girl to fall in love with an ugly rich man, as it is a virtuous poor man.” I think this axiom applies here.

This crazy belief system that we see among a small but loud minority of right wing citizens, is a result of strong propaganda from these forces who wish to control America. Much of this vitrial we see is their mutual hatred of minorities. This works with low information individuals. It is easy to fill an empty mind with often repeated belief systems that becomes truth with the absence of actual knowledge. It is this ignorance that our Committee hopes to combat with a campaign of truth to combat much of the information that so many of our citizens are receiving. It is not just the uneducated who are accepting this nonsense. It is also middle class individuals who hear nothing else, because the democratic party does not seem capable of mounting a truth campaign.Our plan is to flood the airwaves with the truth about these rogue politicians, corporations, and foriegn interests. Our Democracy is at stake, and if we lose it, we will never get it back. Look at Russia. Only an ignorant individual would wish to emulate that catastrophe.
